Denver homeowners know that comfort, style, and durability are key when it comes to flooring. The timeless beauty of a hardwood floor makes it a popular choice. Pre-finished hardwoods in particular are increasingly in demand because of the convenience, efficiency, and aesthetic appeal they offer.

James LoBello Hardwoods is a trusted name in the installation of pre-finished hardwood.

The Beauty of Pre-Finished Hardwoods

Pre-finished hardwoods come in an array of styles, colors, and finishes. In addition to durability, these floors add a warm, luxurious look to any interior.

Why Choose Pre-Finished Hardwood?

As a professional flooring installer, I've noticed a growing preference for pre-finished hardwood flooring. Here are some reasons why:

Guaranteed Finish Quality

A top benefit of pre-finished hardwoods is the consistency of their finish.  Before the flooring arrives at your home it has already been pre-treated and finished. This eliminates the need for on-site finishing and minimizes installation time.  As they are finished in a controlled factory environment, humidity and temperature are regulated. This results in a smoother, more uniform finish, enhancing your floor's overall look.

Durability

Pre-finished hardwoods are very durable. They undergo strict manufacturing processes that make the finish hard and resilient. This means your flooring resists everyday wear and tear, and lasts many years.

Faster Installation

The planks are ready to install right out of the box. Installation takes much less time, and because there is no need to sand or finish, harmful chemical fumes and irritating dust are kept to a minimum.

Wide Variety of Options

Pre-finished hardwoods come in a vast array of species, grades, and colors. I can refer you to a local, reputable wholesale flooring company where you will have access to a knowledgeable representative. She will work with you to find the floor that suits your taste and fits your budget.

The Installation Process Explained

The installation of pre-finished hardwood flooring requires attention to detail and professional experience. Once you've chosen your flooring it's time to schedule the installation.

First I remove the old flooring. I remove the baseboards and set them aside. I examine the subflooring to determine that it's level, clean and free of damage. I can usually fix any defects before I begin the installation.

At this point, I open two or three of the boxes to get an idea of the color, shading and woodgrain patterns. I specifically select each board so that it matches the neighboring boards. My goal is to create a floor in which the shades and patterns are evenly distributed. Once the floor is installed, baseboards are reinstalled.

Upon completion of the installation, I make certain everything is cleaned up. The final step is a thorough walkthrough with the customer to sure everything has been done to your satisfaction.
